Fernanda Gomez is an associate in Ogletree Deakins’ Mexico City office, specializing in international employment law, employee benefits, and labor management relations. She navigates complex labor compliance issues and provides strategic legal guidance to employers operating in Mexico and internationally.
Her work spans both preventive counseling and dispute-resolution matters. María Fernanda advises clients on individual employment relationships, new-hire and onboarding processes, compensation and benefits, employment terminations, telework arrangements, and the legal requirements governing outsourcing in Mexico. She also assists employers in developing, reviewing, and implementing individual employment agreements, internal labor regulations, policies, codes of conduct, and employee handbooks.
Fernanda’s practice involves advising companies facing labor inspections conducted by Mexico’s Ministry of Labor and Social Welfare (STPS).
