2024 Compliance Guide for Employers in Mexico
A wide range of employment-related laws will be implemented or updated in Mexico in 2024, including a revision of the list of occupational diseases and permanent disabilities, an increase in the minimum wage, and an update to the unit of measure used to calculate monetary amounts owed to the federal and state governments.
In addition, employers that registered with the Registry of Specialized Services Providers or Specialized Works in 2020 will have to renew their registrations this year, and employers that started compliance with the workplace psychosocial risk prevention standard in 2020 must conduct the second round of evaluations to identify and analyze psychosocial risk factors in the organizational environment.
